June 5th, 2008 Newsletter - Coulee Region Modelers

Field Marshall Report
The mowing list is on the website and also at the
field. If anyone has any questions, please contact Paul Haley. After
some initial concern about the club mower, it is now working and
running fine.
Secretary Report
Mini-Airfest flyers will be going out to previous
pilots who attended and all the AMA clubs within about a 2hr
distance. Members should start distributing the flyers they have
starting in July.
Old Business
A few misc. items need to be completed at the field
before the Mini-Airfest.
New Business
A club member raised the idea of a lifetime
membership. There was quite a bit of discussion both for and against
this idea and it will continue to be discussed at upcoming meetings.
There was some new discussion on the upcoming
Mini-Airfest. Team leaders for the various committees were discussed.
All members please plan on attending the next 2 meetings to lend your
support and ideas to make this upcoming Mini-Airfest successful.
Several members have already volunteered to lead some of the teams.

(All members are encouraged to help with the raffle by
approaching local businesses for donations.)

Public Relations –
Event Planning/Announcing –
President Bob Corcoran had some pencils printed up for
the Mini-Airfest that can be given out with the flyers or at the
event. Thanks Bob !

(If the weather is bad we will meet in the white shed
where the mower is kept)
